Thank you! It's my favorite as well. :)
I introduced this one a few weeks ago: http://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 41#p270741

Found it at a local store here in Switzerland. There are some Chinese stores selling these but most of them sell fakes or at least low quality. So I guess the best way is buying from a store in Taiwan. Got some links if you'd like to check out. Or if you're from Europe you might want to order from the same shop I found mine. But they're pretty pricey that's why I bought mine for graduation.

Thank-you for the info. I live in the US. How much did it cost? Seems like it would be expensive.

The few from Taiwan I saw so far were all about 600-900$. I guess they will be a bit cheaper from China but still a few hundreds. Everything below 100$ often offered on eBay are fakes.

i've a gaiwan and quite many cups of this material. gave most of the cups alway already.

made of jiu quan jade (酒泉玉), mined in gansu, china. used to be quite popular in the 90s, people would chill the cups and drink wine in them. they call it "夜光/月光杯" (dusklight/moonlight cup) because of its translucency.

Are there two lovely pieces of teaware being shown there, a shallower cup and a deeper one? Trying to match the cup shown in the lower two images with the bowl in the upper--could it be a trick of perspective and lighting?

I bought this teapot about 20 years ago. At that time, Zhu Dan was a young artist. But now she is very famous.

Enjoying some Lao Cong Shan Cha from Norbu, a very pleasant plummy earthy toasty Taiwanese oolong, in a TC SO 'Rock' Eiichi, brewing in a Petr-yaki treebark pot, and the session enhanced by some lemon blossoms, in one of Petr's chawans.

Image

I'm trying to encourage a tiny lemon tree to grow before it goes crazy setting fruit, but the tree is determined.....so this seems as good a use as any for the excess.

Interesting how you have the lemon blossoms in focus but the tea and tea ware out of focus...it shows as TC's are not all about tea
