Not sure if this is actually the correct place for this subject....... (Chip, please move it if needed)
For those who might be interested........
In the just out Jan./Feb. issue of Pottery Making Illustrated magazine (
http://ceramicartsdaily.org/pottery-making-illustrated/ ) there is an article on making Zisha teapots by Maggie Connolly, a Masters Degree candadate at Qinghua University in Bejing.
The matterials and tools mentioned in the piece come from

You can find single issue copies at good bookstores (what's left of them). I've seen it a Barnes and Noble in the magazine section. You might also write to them and see if you can purchase a single issue.

I don't think I'd drink tea out of the clay you can order from that supplier.
Those colors look very artificial.

A little off topic but still related, in the pottery class I took last summer, when we worked on Slab pottery it was my least favorite, and all I tried to do is make a cylindrical flower pot, and I found it incredibly hard. I often forget that all authentic Yixing are made entirely using the slab technique, and when I remember it-- it boggles my mind.
*edit: fixed typo.
