Since tea isn't pour over or in a caddy this kind of aging would take decades. It seems unlikely that they just look the same.

I just hope for whoever bought it that it was aged in a way that's safe for the tealeaves.

(I can't contact the buyer sadly)

At least they had the decency to drop the price and not charge extra for "antiquing".
