Yixing Teapot from Rishi....

Postby olateone » May 26th, '14, 16:11

....and my first post here.
It's been a month since I rec'd this pot and have used it daily for my oolongs.
I am satisfied with this pot so far, only complaint is that I wished it was a little smaller than 170 ml.
Info: http://www.rishi-tea.com/product/immortal-peach-zhuni-clay-yixing-teapot/teapots
Construction-wise... very thin vessel, pours well, has a nice shape for my use, and has no clay smell from inside the vessel.
Peace.

You can get similarly well crafted modern pots at smaller sizes here:

I'm trying to decide whether or not to pull the trigger on one of these myself, especially because of the 15% discount at the moment. I like the red clay on those.

Teadoff also had a couple of modern pots but I think they are sold out now.

Yes sir, I'll post them to the yixing thread when I get around to cutting them down to size, or maybe I'll just upload them to imgur
