Got my new 400-z scale

..but dont know where to find the measurements for teas...can anybody help me pleeze :D
Is it different for blacks than greens? What about chinese greens vs. jap greens?

I think it is 2.5g for any type tea as a base line then adjust to taste. I don't currently use a scale, but that is what I believe is the general idea.

For most Japanese greens I use 4-5 grams per 200 ml. Most Asamushi and a rare fuka I use almost 7 grams.

Chinese greens I use 3-5 grams generally. Most close to 4. Per 200 ml.

Blacks...the standard is 2.3 gr per 6 ounces.

Oolong...tough call. For 4 ounce gaiwan I am using 4-5.5 grams...

I hope this helps, Kat! Be willing to play around based on your tastes. It is fun being able to quantify something that is rather subjective!
