Well here are my oddball entries.
The first is my plain white cup. This cup is very shallow and has a very unusual open and modern feeling to it. I love the very simple yet unusual form of this cup.
My second cup is my Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles cup. It has an image of Syaoran on the the saucer and Sakura and Mokona on the cup itself. It's also indented to form a heart when filled with tea, much like Victoria's avie.
Ok, wow that is unusual!! And I love your plain white one!!
Understated and simple, very lovely!

Actually I don't own the heart shaped one, unfortunately. I have one similar but it is not "the one". Thanks for the nudge, I'll load a couple of my favorites just for eye candy - soon.edkrueger wrote:The cool heart shaped one in her avatar must be one. Yeah, as amazing as the intricate and ornate cups are, it took me a long time to find something very plain and simple, yet attractive and suitable. I love the slightly abnormal shape of the white one. It's much shallower and wider than most english teacups.Victoria wrote:Ok, wow that is unusual!! And I love your plain white one!!

It's really nice! I wouldn't want to try walking up the stairs with that one filled to the brim though! I tend to like more shallow cups as a general rule. I think they are visually stunning and they help to cool the tea, I prefer it a bit cooler.

My Limoges cup is a little bit shallow and is the thinnest most delicate eggshell porcelain I have ever seen. It is over a decade old and simply a joy to hold and use. Probably my favorite. Not a real fan of rosebud designs, but honestly it's just beautiful.
This is the only collector's cup I have two of, and I'm waiting for DotK to come join me in a nice Oolong brewed English style in this French teacup!
(This pic was not taken by me, but by the seller)

It's actually the same cup. Three different views of the same cup. I got the cup at AX two years ago. I only found it from one vendor and they only had this one. And only one of them. I have yet to see anything like this since.Vulture wrote: Uh oh, you got my anime brain interested. Where did you get these?

There are many gorgeous tea cups in this post. I love many of them and had a hard time to decide which was my favorite. Then came this white one, and this is definitely my favorite!Pentox wrote:Well here are my oddball entries.
