A few years ago I got a nice teaset at a thrift shop and have been using it regularly every since. The teapot handle was bamboo with wire hook ends wrapped in thinner bamboo or twine. The wrapped ends have come undone and I've taken the handle off. I would like to replace it or repair it, but am not sure what would be best. Also, is there some care precaution I should take to prevent this happening in the future? I didn't immerse the teapot handle in water, but of course some could occasionally splash onto the handle when I rinsed it out.
Here is the teapot:

Not long ago, a TeaChatter posted a link to a site that sells replacement handles ... but I've been unable to find it by searching. (I thought I'd bookmarked it too, but it looks like I didn't. Phooey.)
Anyone?
Anyone?
