I own several pieces of Hagi, most of which haven't been posted yet. Must get around to it one of these days.
Just perusing this Hagi thread since there haven't been many posts lately, and Chamekke, I thought I'd call ya out and ask for you to post your Hagi! I am sure they are gorgeous as you have such beautiful teaware. PLEEEZE?
Oh, and thanks for the threads!

Ms Kita B...where are you????? Waiting for you to post some of your new TeaWare too. Pretty Please :)

And of course Chip, do you or do you not own that cup posted by bi lew chun:?: Inquiring minds want to know

If it has then I blame you for my not winning this:

Nah, just kidding, I didn't even manage to bid. But let's anticipate my needing to blame you sometime in the future just to be safe. 8)

Holy crap that is awesome. Is it Seigan?
Quit Hagin'

Oh by the way, I bought my stuff from Makogadoro (spelling butchered) aged ago and there was fierce competition then for auction items going up to 200 USD or even much more.

Yup. Maybe Chip will let each of us borrow it in turn.

Ohhhhhh, ahhhhhh....pretty blue Hagi cup...so, Chip, can you pass it around so we can all try it? Ok, so we don't have to actually, you know, use it...we could just, you know, hold it, you know, in a strictly "just friends" kind of way....really.

I volunteer to be first.

Or perhaps in addition to the new icons being added along with "Smellovision," we can also petition for "TouchItVision?"

Make it so!

Wow, a whole thread devoted to hagiware. Unfortunately, much like haggis*
and blowfish sushi**, hagi is something I just don't understand.

I have one hagi cup, I like it, but I don't expect to get more.

*a steamed pudding made of finely minced sheep heart, lungs and liver, minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally boiled in the animal's stomach for approximately three hours. Often said to be an acquired taste.

**the blowfish must be gutted and skinned while it's still breathing. Sweet.

ebay, magokorodo if I remember well. As they sell many Seigan teaware, you can ask them directly if they don't have a similar one.

Ok, just to be clear...we are hoping that the Hagi gets passed around NOT the haggis! I'm am frantically trying to stop imagining what a traveling box of haggis would smell like!

Quick, I need a cup of really aromatic oolong...NOW!
