yeah i looked back at the seller history to see what a lot of stuff went for and gave myself a hard stopping price..BUT to be honest. comapring to some of the "retail" sites still not too bad plus I really dont mind paying a bit for the hard work of someone that does handmade art/craft
+1.
Actually, you still got them below retail which is around 21 USD a piece.
I really liked the extra crosshatching type work in the glaze on the bottom half of them! cant wait to use them

One of my favorite, use it almost daily. Develop a bright shine to it, which is very interesting.
Tim, I just wanted to say that... I've fallen in love with your teabowl {blush}

Very different and interesting blue for a Seigan chawan (it is a chawan?). Thanks for sharing.

I've been lusting after something similar, but worried it wasn't large enough for matcha... which is what I'd want it for. I saw your posting yesterday with matcha in that one... so now I am wondering if it's from the same vendor I'm checking out... they had quite a few. Whisper in my ear.

Oddly, it has six cups. Comes in a nice wood box with the info sheet on the artist, Sakata Deika XIII. The kyusu is a bit big, so I haven't really used it, but I occasionally use the cup sometimes.
Very cool, Marshaln! Seems a lot of Hagi sets come with 6 cups (or at least older sets), my one set does as well. Did it include a Yuzamashi?

We know you did not vote for 1.
A picture or two, or a thousand words, your choice!

Nope, no yuzamashi. Just cups and kyusu.

Both are very cool.
