Maximum limit on making blends...

by ASUnurse26 » Feb 22nd, '09, 00:33

Sadly, a few weeks ago, I hit the max limit on making signature blends, which is at 25. I can understand why this is, but I love making teas so much. I told myself if I really have some great ideas that I'll create another account just to make more blends, lol. Anyway, I was looking at a person's blends today, wondering why it seemed she has so many. I took a look at her profile and found she has 37 blends. How is this possible? I'm actually really kind of upset about it.

Could be the 25-blend maximum was instituted after she already made 37? You could check how long ago her most recent one was made, or ask around to see whether there was a time before the maximum was instituted.

Bye the way, hi everyone, it's been a looong time since I was last here poking around the TeaChef forum.

But now you've made us all curious... is the answer top secret?
***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

I was told that they had a few people making hundreds of blends that weren't actually adding value to the site, so they added a cap on blend making. You can have it removed if you start to go through tea blending withdrawals, like myself.

I'm pretty sure I noticed that it's possible to delete blends.
So that would mean that you could raplace those with new ones?
I think that's what I will do anyway. I messed up with 2 of my first blends.
I got confused and thought 'flavor' was just herbal, not black tea. (Even though the pics should have given it away  )
But for me I don't think there will be more than 25 at a time that I want to keep.

You can delete and edit blends. I've deleted one I wasn't fond of. I still can't stop making them. But it's great, because people are placing orders for my teas! (and so am I, lol)
