Hello !
I am a swiss ceramist artist . My english is not so good but I want to present my tea passion and share with you my work.
I have a blog ( french ) : http://tpotginkgo.blogspot.com/
and a website but this one is old and has to be refreshed.
I would like to show some picture but it seems not be possible to load that from the mac so I will wait a little.

Welcome Ginkgo!

Do you have a Photobucket or Flickr account? If you have a photo hosting account with either or another, you can easily post photos of your works on TeawareArtisans.

Also, you can post as attachments directly from your computer, but not sure about the Mac issue.

Yes - you do have a Flickr :D

1. Copy the URL [of your flickr photo]
2. Click on Img [from the menu bar when posting]
3. Paste the URL [between the opening and closing Image tags]

At first when I started reading your post, I thought you were another TeaChat member called Gingko

I see that your blog refers to you as "Ginkgo T", if you could change your teachat name to "Ginkgo T" it might save us confusing the 2 members

Hi Ginkgo,

I visited your blog again today and you have some wonderful pieces there! I especially like the Shino piece under "nouvuex bols" as well as an Oribe piece that you had listed above it. They show a playfulness and softness which is wonderful to see and look so inviting to hold.

Keep up the nice work!

Best,
R

Thanks for all your kind answer .I have to post other picture on the Flick and try as your tell me .
I see the other member called gingko but how can I change my teachat name ?
Specially thanks for your notes on my work ! I have a passion for shino and when I see the pieces of Robert Forell I just have a " coup de coeur" : I also wanted to have such a bowl in my hand to feel it and see all the subtile colors ... Great Great work for me ...so I am touched that you appreciate my pieces too.
Thanks all of you I admire your work too .

Hi Ginko and welcome to TeaChat. Lovely, lovely piece!!! So glad you joined us.
Just PM Chip with your 'new name' and he will be able to help you.

Currently he is brewing for us, it will be a few minutes until he gets back to you.

Go Gingko Go!!!

I especially love the chawan on the bottom.... it almost looks like ikat style weaving.

Salut, Ginko T.
C'est toujours bon d'avoir un autre artisan avec nous.
J'aimerais bien voir vos nouvelles oeuvres.
Il y'a d'autres ici qui parle français, si vous avez des questions de langue.

Wooza, Je viens juste de voir quelques uns de vos oeuvres.

Woozl

PS. your english is great, no worries.

Most impressive, Ginkgo. The second one is reminiscent of white birch tree bark.

BTW, I sent you a Private Message regarding your comment about changing your forum User Name.
