You continue to astound us, Shawn! If only we lived close by, we could save you from that "necessary evil."

That's a cool looking chawan! I'm looking forward to seeing more from this batch and hopefully being able to purchase one.

Re: Shawn McGuire (GREENWOODSTUDIO)
Those little Shibies seem to be in high demand. It's funny because the first time I made them that small I didn't get much interest in them initially.
Anyway, yes I still have a ton of work to list. Looking through what I have here I see 3 shibs that are on the small side. 1 that's 50-55ml and two that are 75-80ml. Also keep in mind that there is a good bit of flexibility in terms of capacity of these. I'm measuring them at the point where water just starts to overlap the gallery for the lid, so it's essentially the maxed out point. Filling it ever so slightly below that line could change the amount your brewing easily, we are talking about small amounts of liquid. I can't imagine these small adjustments influencing the final brew, but I could be wrong.
Anyway I'm going to list these little ones today and I'll place them on TC'er RESERVE to give TeaChatters first crack at them. So, if it says TC'er RESERVE they are still available, if they just says RESERVE they are spoken for. If you want to contact me I'll probably get your message faster through Etsy than I would through TC, Etsy gives me a notification on my phone. Thanks

Thanks for the reserve! I picked up the 55ml shib as a little gift for myself. I can't wait to break it in with some sessions!
Re: Shawn McGuire (GREENWOODSTUDIO)
Its quite large, but gorgeous and great for social sencha! I personally like the lid.

Re: Shawn McGuire (GREENWOODSTUDIO)
I really need to use my camera to take photos that do justice to this beautiful Teaware. The yuzamashi and shiboridashi are from July, and the Cha he and cup are more recent purchases. Shawn's Teaware is not just beautiful, but also functional. That's something I take for granted with TeaChat artisans but it's not always true with other potters.

Re: Shawn McGuire (GREENWOODSTUDIO)
Beautiful setup. I was just using a twin of your shiboridashi yesterday, a small piece that works wonderfully for tea for one.

Nice set up! I particularly like the shib and the tea boat. If you dont mind indulging, who is the tea boat made by?
