Hope, I only actually fired a few. I needed to fill my space in a local co-op I belong to, so I put them in there thinking no one around here would even know what they were. However I was wrong, and they sold! Better make more I guess
Well, at least now you know it's a popular design! Here's hoping we get to see the results of the next round ...

Thanks for posting ikj23, funny that the iron in that glaze is from Spain and it's returned home
Thanks Chip for the reminder, I had to edit some stuff.

what a coincidence! I use it almost every day, very good for summer.
That last one is very very beautiful, I like a lot that kind of your glazed.

I thought this might be of interest to some. Here's an example of the difference a little iron can make. The glazes on this cup are actually made from the same base glaze. The tenmoku on the exterior has almost 10% iron added, while the interior celadon has .25 of 1% added (actually less then that because the source was not pure iron oxide but rather an iron bearing clay added as the colorant)

Working on some more gaiwans, lower wider design. Different clay (earthenware), which will be fired, unglazed to it's upper limit of soft stoneware temp (cone 1). It's a nice deep red brown after firing. I wanted to try something different. This one is just for fun of course, a one sipper
