John,

That Hare's Fur Ido Chawan haunts me; even when I am away from the computer and TeaChat I find my mind linger on back to that chawan. It really is a beautiful and stunning piece...sophisticated, rich, and yet also earthy and subdued, even in all its color and presentation. Beautiful piece!

Blessings!

kyarazan,

Unfortunately no,..... I won't be attending the opening or the show. I am already presenting at the International Academy of Ceramics General Assembly in Dublin, Ireland in September... and while my college is supportive of my 'international adventures'...... too much time away from campus in one semester is not something I'd want to push too hard. (Got invited back to South Korea in the fall also... and had to decline that one also.)

best,

................john

Pleased to say that a contracted article I did for them was just published in "The Log Book", which is the international journal of woodfiring.
