Re: Petr Novák - Pots under influence of tea
Thank you Chip, Debunix, John...honored.
Due to some circumstances I am able to offer few more pieces from last firing in my "available now" picasa album. Even if you are not interested in buying, please take a look…every comment is welcome!

One of those is teapot from Chip's kyusu family...here just with rattan handle( and bigger I think) And also shibo in "famous" Black Magda slip glaze...btw we are slowly running out of this clay-glaze and will have to make a trip to other side of our small country to dig for some new, bigger, stockpile. Nice obligation... I will take some pictures of that place and share them with you, it is quite interesting place.

Petr Novák - Pots under influence of tea
Just had a pleasant session of some Yunnan black tea, brewed in a wonderful little shiboridashi set from Petr's last 2011 firing.
I'm very late with sharing this but better late than never, right?
I also got a cute little tea pot of his that I'll try to share eventually as well
It holds about 60 ml and not only looks and feels great but also works flawlessly. I'm very happy with it.
Definitely not my last piece from Petr!

Using my new black shiboridashi set on this OTTI.
The first sample got a 3.5. Petr's shibo got a 5.
Love it!

Re: Petr Novák - Pots under influence of tea
It's remarkable how much I like the various styles of Petr's teawares. I'm saved from a buying frenzy only by a calming session with tea brewed in one of my new shiboridashi (commissioned after my first failed a sudden impact test vs tile floor)
and using one of the new yuzamashi for cooling and avoidance of scorched tongue syndrome
and drinking from one of the new cups
And they do play well with others, mixing and matching with other teaArtisan acquisitions
and that allows me to resist the lures of the Black Magda glaze a little longer.....

Re: Petr Novák - Pots under influence of tea
just ordered a shiboridashi with a cup from Petr.
contact was very kind and hopefully i will hold the pieces in hands soon.
and its so great that he's from a neighboring country of mine, this makes shipping things so much easier
