......But maybe some owners of such teapots can confirm, that especially with small 80-120ml teapots, the three bark surface is more like natural detail than overwhelming and distinct decor.....
My little treebark pot seems like it was grown, or dug out of the ground--a natural something found, not something made.

Last week, we had workshop fucused on glazes for woodfiring , busy time with many people in our house, a lot of work and fun, two firings of our small experimental wood kiln to 1350°C. Aside from teaching and sharing of our regular glazes and techniques we always try some new, suprice glaze(es). This time it was the famous "snow flake", quite tricky one...If we would like to keep using it, we have to work on it, but for the start it is not so bed....

We have a webpage for that
http://www.kcdoupe.cz/en/ Workshops are still just in Czech, and still just during summer. But we can think of some cooperation, teach-share something together here:)
And for fun, new reading on my blog

The colours are wonderful and the surface looks like nothing I have ever seen - man-made nature.

Very cool.
I had another session with my treebark pot last night, and it is still doing the amazing aroma trick--where it seems to amplify the fruitiest scents of the roasted oolongs brewed in it. Very curious how much that is due to the clay, the surface texture, or a combination of both, and whether this almost-hobnail pot would have a similar effect.

Thank you for sharing Debunix, that is what makes me as teaware potter happy: Knowing that some of my teapots make better tea.

Already has
And now, take a walk on the wild side...110ml, unglazed, stony with copper veins...

(I was unable to view the additional images however - the link led 1st to a google page where I had to sign in w/ my google info, then a request page and after clicking on "request" a message saying I would be notified when the request to view was granted.)

Hi Petr,
It's working great now!
Will you be posting an "available now" page that showcases all your currently available tea ware?

Ai, what a wonderful teapot Petr! When I was a kid I actually had a bark collection; old weathered bits and pieces I found in the woods with wonderful colored lichens and moss and all. So beautiful. This one is bark of old pine, the way it deeply segments, such satisfying texture. It seems right to me that tea leaves should rest in that sort of form. I love looking at artisan ware in this forum, eagerly watching mailbox for two from Andrzej, and I'm so greedy I will have to have one from you too before I'm done. Terrific work, as usual.
