You will NOT want to miss this. The treasures are spectacular and numerous! The treasures are waiting for new homes. All members as of the time stamp of this post may participate!

Each day I will plant clues on the forum in my posts. Each clue within my post will be labeled to indicate which treasure the clue is for and what number clue it is.

So TreaureHunt Treaure 7 Clue 2 would indicate the clue is the second clue for treasure number 7.

The clue might be within an unrelated post, or it may be in a special post. But it will be labeled.

You have to PM your best guess(es) for what the treasure is. BE SURE TO INDICATE FOR WHICH TREASURE YOU ARE GUESSING IN YOUR SUBJECT TITLE.

There is no limit to how many times you can guess. Ultimately the trail of clues will lead to a post in a very appropriate location, revealing exactly what each treasure is along with a photo.

I will PM back whether your guess is correct or not. If you guessed incorrectly, you can continue to guess. If you guess correctly for one treasure, you can continue to guess for other treasures.

This TreasureHunt will run all week! All correct guesses for each treasure will be in the running for the correctly guessed treasure.

BTW, the Treasures are compliments of some very generous benefactors who will be revealed in due course ...

So lucky participants will not pay one red penny for their treasures, not even shipping.

At last count, there are 7 Treasures! But this number could go up .........

The clues will generally lead you to a "maker" who you need to guess as well as the actual treasure piece.

Well, except Treasure #8, which is an exception to the previous 7 treasures since there is a vendor for this item. For #8, guess the vendor and what the treasure piece is (although you can guess the maker to).

I have to say that this is very much fun and it is very exciting to search for the correct answers - thanks a lot for arranging this treasure hunt event!

And if you have not gotten involved, you still can join in the fun. All correct guessers for each Treasure will be in the running for the treasure. The Treasure Hunt will run all week, into the beginning of next week.

At the end of the hunt, all the treasures will be revealed! At that time, all members who correctly guessed treasure 1 will have their name thrown into the ModHat and the lucky winner will be drawn. The same for all the treasures!

Only one treasure will be awarded per member!

In my profile, click on "search user's posts." This will give you a snap shot of my posts and you can actually see the clues in most of them).
