i was tossing the idea about having a dozen or so 'grab bag' yunomi ?
it would be sold thru etsy... just fielding an idea. also it would be affordable
they would be hand selected yunomi in various incarnations in brown bags... good luck bags or 'fukubukuro' as its called in japan.
and most of all, hand selected pieces of my work ! not krap !
please post thoughts and rants
cheers

teapots
coloradocoloradopu wrote:could you please post more of the pots you have made. broken spouts and all.
also how does the above one work is it as functional as it looks?
the teapot way above is fully functional.
the piece is destroyed if it does not function or even if the lid doesn't fit perfectly. it must pour perfectly.
my old teacher, ah Leon, there is a 'zone of tranquility' when the liquid leaves the spout to the container in which its being poured. not too much turbulence. there are many factors going into making teapots too. more than a teacup.
pieces below are all 'survivors' they work, function well.
one key point, i had the awesome opportunity to study w/gu mei qun and Ah Leon, probably the best teapot makers in the world !!
a collaborative show displaying the various sizes of teapots. the large one is big (green one)
