My 2nd Dilemma, delaying my choice of pots concerns colour.

I like to arrange my pots in terms of colour so all my Wuyi Pots are Reddish Brown and my Dan Cong pots are a Dark Brown.

Looking at the photos reveals a deep range of apparent colours, but often the only clay detailed is given as 'The raw material is purple clay ore in HuangLong Mountain '

Is the colour solely down to the clay, or does the level of firing affect the colour?

I think you said your pots (unless special order) are always medium thickness and medium fired.

So -

Do your Zi Ni and Ziqie Ni always turn out a darker brown?

Do Qingshui Ni and Dicao Qing always turn out a lighter brown?

I am tempted to buy an Archaized style in a darker brown colour, the flatness of the pot and the large opening under the lid would be suitable for Dan Cong leaves

BUT
Model: Archaized pot001
only says Purple Clay Ore and does not look dark enough for me,
would it look darker in ZiQie Ni?

Could you (or anyone) explain the difference between Zi Ni and ZiQie Ni?
Best wishes from Cheshire

3rd, do I buy one pot and wait some time before buying another, or do you give a discount i f several items are ordered at the same time?

I was contemplating buying some Yixing Tea Storage jars, but was waiting for you to post a photo of the lids and how tightly they fit. I see you have added a couple more jars, but still no photos of the jars?

Also I have a feeling that I am about to start drinking some Taiwanese Oolongs, and I was intending to buy a couple of ben Shan pots for using with them. I see from other vendors that the level of firing affects the speckled look or smoothness of the pot.

I see you also have lu Ni clay, but no photos of any Lu Ni pots, how do your finished Lu Ni pots look ?

Is your lu Ni made from Ben Shan or a different type of Lu Ni Clay?
Best wishes from Cheshire

Hi, Herb_Master :D
Thanks for being concerning about our website.
First, let me answer your questions you have asked.
1.Q:Model: Archaized pot001
only says Purple Clay Ore and does not look dark enough for me, would it look darker in ZiQie Ni?
A:The archaized pot001 in our website is made in qingshui ni, which is lighter than Ziqie ni. Both of them are belong to Purple Clay.
So, It acturally is darker in ziqie ni.
And we can make archaized pot in ziqie ni if you need.

2.Q:Could you (or anyone) explain the difference between Zi Ni and ZiQie Ni?
A:Zi ni includes ZiQie ni, Qingshui ni, DiCao qing etc.
So the ZiQie ni is one kind of High quality Zi ni. It is darker and more ruddy than common Zi ni.

3.About Lu Ni
We have put Benshan LuNi pot offline, we are not making Benshan LuNi pot Right not. Because Benshan Luni is not pure now. It contains many chemical material. So we are not using it, and i think you should not buy it in china.

Again thanks for your advise to our website. We will update our website within 2 weeks.
And we are now giving you two coupon code valued $7.77 which has been sent to you via teachat.

If you need any teapot, you can email me freely.

Thanks

id say come out with antique looking tea pots... those "new old tea pots" look
those have more character, looks finer and looks more delicate than the new or modern ones in my opinion...
match them with the most suitable clay for that shape
and its a winner.

Chen,

Do you have a problem with your email system? I have sent you two questions and wasn't ever answered (one regarding clay types and another one about zhuni).

Thanks,
Dima.

A month ago, a lot people confused why our website: zishateapot.co.uk closed and there is nobody to answer the questions and e-mails anymore. Some even wondered if we want to close this online teapot store.

Actually, my father's teapots are more and more popular in China and loved by a lot of people. From Autumn, My father and I have been busy attending the various types of large scale exhibitions. And my father was busy making teapots for the domestic market. So we really have no time to take care of the online store. And had to close the website for somewhile.

These days, I discussed with my father and i really hope to explore overseas market, let more people use our Yixing teapots. So we re-opened our website. Welcome to visit. And i will handle your questions again. The earlier e-mails are all replied. If you have any questions and problems, please contact me.

In addition, we only have just one website, that is zishateapot.co.uk. If you find some other websites sold my father's teapot, that are all copies.

From now on,I will be committed to this website, and hope that more people like my father's Teapot.
