Wood Fired Ceramics by Bill Perrine (Split-Fire Pottery)
and a lidded container
and another tea pot
This is easy... once ya know how.
I don't think this is the same one Aphroditea posted
Thanks for looking! I'm going to start making more tea ceremony items. I would welcome suggestions and ideas. Thanks, Bill aka T-session... I live on Sessions Hill Road...

You got the images working wonderfully! Your ears must have been burning because I was JUST talking to another chatter about how we were rather taken with that particular lidded jar. Also this one:
both of them are quite lovely!

fermentation jugs and lidded jars
The lidded jar shows a bit of my love for Asian inspired designs. I designed and built our house and it has a Craftsman style to it, very Asian. Exposed beams on the extended roof rakes and beam work on the barrel arched front entrance roof ... back on subject... I want to show this cute little container that has the "look" on the lid decoration. I'm so proud of myself being able to add pics on here. I'm still a bit computer challenged. But with a little help....
.
And iannon mentioned fermentation jugs. What do they require? I drink tea, but I'm a simple green tea lover.

well..they arent necessarily for anything tea related really..basically they are just a crock of whatever size..that has kind of a "gutter" where you place the lid (which has a deep downturned rim i guess you could say to fit into the "gutter".. you put water in the "gutter" so when you put the lid on it creates an airtight seal. can be used for anything you want an airtight sea on

jugs
Hey iannon,
they sound interesting. What size are they usually? I would imagine... 1/2 gallon to 1 gallon? Probably a wide-ish mouth on them, I had originally thought like a wiskey jug. I've seen the crocks shaped more like a rectangle ( ) with curved sides.
Appreciate your input.

variety
Hi all, I also make more ornamental pieces. I love sculpting and I like putting fish, rabbits... different things on top. Here's a couple.
and
I was thinking something with tea leaves on top to put tea leaves in as Aphroditea was mentioning.
Sound interesting?

Love your work. I think the teapots are tremendous. Might have to work out a trade if you're interested?
