Hi All,
I've been gone from here for quite awhile now, a lot has happened. We closed the SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts gallery after 12 years about 1.5 years ago. As a result I had to move my studio and build something new which I did on our property here in Pagosa Springs, CO. It is small, compact and efficient with lots of light. I acquired a large electric kiln that I use for bisque firing (for 30 years I used gas to fire my bisque) and I love it. I built a small propane fired reduction kiln by converting an old electric kiln, I'm getting results I never expected. I'm very happy with what is coming out of what I call my "little tin can."

I plan on being here regularly presenting new work and News from the new Shy Rabbit Studio.

So many lovely pieces on your etsy, so little space on the shelves. I've only had the lates pieces for a few weeks, and I'm already getting a lot of use out of this chawan despite not drinking matcha yet

I also bought a small cup that is even busier for me in the morning--it's a great size for hot chocolate as well as gyokuro and puerh, but I haven't had it out for photos yet.

And the parade of lovely cups on Michael's Etsy continues....fingers itching to hold more of them....
