silkworm dropping tea

by pb2q » Jun 9th, '10, 16:09

I was reminded by another thread about a recent episode of Ruth Reichl's new show, Adventures with Ruth. In Laos, she drinks a tea brewed with silkworm droppings.

Look for the episode named The Tamarind School, Laos here, where you can view the episode:

I actually considered posting this under "Flavored Tea".

Anyone in for horse-apple tea? Sparrows love to pick in it so there must be something good there.
