Is there a tea that helps with sinus pressure
I was wondering if there was a certain tea that would help with sinus pressure.

I have sinus problems too, to relieve it with tea I use an inexpensive but good black tea or oriental beauty, add honey and pure lemon juice to give it more anti-inflamitory power and make sure to inhale the steam while I´m drinking.

I don't have any lemon. I drank some cayenne pepper tea. It still needed lemon, but I have none so I drank it straight. It was really hot. The one thing it helped with was thinning the mucus. My head still hurts.

Nothing to do with tea, but I have found jala neti helps me a lot!

Definitely breathe in the steam. Holding the hot tea in your mouth helps too; take a large sip, push it sort of upward with your tongue so it hits the roof of your mouth and hold. Obviously not too hot tea!!! Then you can also rest the warm cup on your face against your sinus areas.
Feels great!

I was choking. I only used a teaspoon in 8 ounces and I couldn't even finish the tea

White tea helps my sinuses. I have allergies that give me a drippy nose and sneezing.

Well, a strong ginger tisane always helps my girlfriend get over sinus headaches... I keep my dorm well-stocked when allergy season rolls around. So maybe that would work?
Also, I recommend making a tisane out of the following ingredients: hot water, lemon juice, peppercorns, ginger, cayenne, and a lot of honey. It's very spicy but that and the steam clear the sinuses right up! I used to drink this all the time when I was little (I had really bad ear/nose/throat issues). Sugar can be added to taste.

Thank you all for the suggestions! I will have to try all these methods

This one may be more controversial, but I find that a tisane of ma huang (ephedra) helps me with asthma and allergies. There was quite a scare about ephedrine and people taking a lot of it as a diet supplement some years back, but I've not had any ill effects from drinking an herbal tea of the stuff. (I imagine the ephedra content of tea is quite low compared to those giant horse pills of extract that folks were popping like candy.)
