...how do you cleans your pallet so that you get the maximum spectrum of flavor from your tea?

I typically don't bother, but I am careful about introducing strong flavors before drinking tea, e.g. toothpaste/mouthwash, booze. Bananas really mess things up.

I just try not to eat anything for up to a half hour prior (depends on the spiciness of the food). I also do not brush my teeth for about the same 30ish minutes.

A little water is all ... if anything.

I guess I'll stop brushing my teeth and eating bananas before tea then. :wink:

I thought there might be some food or scent (like coffee) that could help prep the mouth and nose.
