Want theteagallery.com to offer international shipping?

I'm a UK tea drinker and would very much like to use this most excellent vendor.

http://www.theteagallery.com/

They offer a great range of teas and some superb looking gaiwans which I see recommend a lot (and want). What I've also seen in my short say here is lots of people mentioning they'd like to use them but cant.

I've contacted them asking if they'd consider offering international shipping and their response was that they've been contacted a few times recently in regards to this and are considering it.

So I was really hoping a little support from us tea chatters could help the decision.

Just post your interest in this subject and the thread will get shown to them.

Many thanks for reading.

As another UK tea addict I'd be very happy to see the tea gallery offer int shipping. I've looked over the site many times and they are on my 'need to try' list. It didn't really enter my mind that they wouldn't offer int shipping.

Quite surprised to be honest.

Yeah I was as well the first time I loaded my cart with goodies and then checked out. Had about £100 worth in there. :(

Thanks for your post!

I'm a US customer so this doesn't effect me overmuch, but I want to support my tea drinking brethren worldwide, so please teagallery, ship internationally! It sounds like it could be profitable...

Great initiative Zensuji. I'd very much like to try their teas. I hadn't realized yet that it wasn't possible for me.

Count me in !

Their prices are quite high. I wonder if it's worth. That's the second UK place I see in a week with high prices (when compared to some Japanese organic or non-organic sources). Is this a trend in the UK or are these teas really, really exceptional ? I'd say: free international shipping (as some Japanese do) :)

Umm, they are in NY, USA.

I got to try a few samples of the Japanese greens which were outstanding ... and I tend to be more than a bit particular.

Some of us are more than a little fond of their offerings and find their pricing reasonable for the quality and its availability in the US market.

I have yet to find another vendor whose yancha rates as highly for my palate as consistently as The Tea Gallery.

He he!

Since Zensuji is from the U.K. and the subject is international order, I presumed this must not be about a neighbour, southern country !

... As in *some* U.S. stores offering shipping within the USA and... international orders. Fortunately, some have consideration for Canada and put orders from that small, unknown, neighbourhoud country in a different process that is different from shipping to UK, Europa, or Australia.
