Paris Tea House Recommendations?

by tea fish » Jun 6th, '11, 09:58

Hi everybody--

Long time no write! But I've been enjoying visiting the forum and reading posts from time to time.

Now I need some TeaChat wisdom, or at least some ideas. I'll be going to Paris this month (I fly out tomorrow, tho not to Paris), and I'm curious about good tea houses/rooms, besides the biggies like Mariage Freres and Dammann. I know they're all over the place (Google brings up lots of hits, but it's hard to know what's really good). I'm an oolong nut, fyi. If you have any places to recommend, I'd love to hear about them.

Many thanks!

I can suggest you :

La Maison des Trois Thés
1 rue Saint Medard (subway station : Place Monge)

or

Thés de Chine
20 boulevard Saint Germain (subway : Jussieu, Cardinal Lemoine or Maubert Mutualité)
