Cool Free Tea Timer

by garrettmc » Jul 28th, '11, 20:46

Hey guys! I was browsing the web the other day and I found a website that gives you a tea timer that's really easy to use. All you have to do is go to the url and type in steep.it/the kind of tea you want

ex. If i wanted to brew a dragonwell I would type steep.it/green and it would immediately begin counting down.
Hope you guys enjoY!

But isn't this losing control of your personal brewing parameters having to follow someone elses times.

I prefer to just use the count up feature (no annoying beeps and just hit it and forget it) that most timers have. If you do not see count up, usually just hitting start witll begin the count up.

For successive steeps, I do not reset, just let it keep running.

yes I definitely agree. I dont use it because I like to experiment with my own times. however I figured it would be good for a tea beginner that needed to explore the basic steep times and learn them.
