Sunrise Mart, the biggest Japanese Grocery Store in the New York city, has just started dealing with Matcha and Houjicha Teabag from Maruyamanori in East Village.

Or, you could walk a few blocks down the street and pick up loose leaf Tenryu and Kagoshima or a tin of serious Uji matcha from The Makari. It's up to you, though

The teas at The Makari are supplied by Saras Tea Caddie .

Since we're mapping the wholesalers of East Village, my dream is for Cha An to add a page of Sara's Tea Caddy instead of the ridiculous Ito En.
