My Teaware. And no that is not a joke  . I often have food with tea, which normally stands pretty much by itself in the day. My teaware though, they are what I enjoy tremendously for passing time while heating the water, brewing, drinking, etc.

Being from the UK I was brought up on assam based bags and milk with a touch of sugar.......still drink it almost daily although I usually buy loose leaf assam like this. http://www.postcardteas.com/site/product/newassam/ and brew it with milk and sugar. It feels like a completely separate thing to my sencha habit.

The guiltiest pleasure of tea for me is the serene silence/stillness of a solitary pour
totally!

For me good tea itself is it's own guilty pleasure... and I usually enjoy it by itself. usually.

Don't tell anybody, but when I'm not at home, I drink a lot of English Breakfast teabags because they are easy to find, taste ok, and satisfy my craving for a hot drink.

I also frequently drink yerba mate in the mornings, but that habit is waning because I've found bancha to be a more soothing way to start my day.

And perhaps it's the opposite of a "guilty pleasure", but I feel a little ashamed because I don't like pu. Sheng or shu, it's rare for me to come across a pu that I enjoy.

I like eating dark chocolate with strong black Japanese teas or pu erh with a tiny bit of cake. Iced sencha with honey sounds delicious and I like to make it from time to time.
And my third sin (last but not least).. I like to take my whole teaware set, turn on chinese/japanese music (Sakura is my favourite one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVLR6znrpOU), brew and taste tea in a slow way, letting my thoughts wander.

One tea I've been drinking lately would be tereré (pronounced with an emphasis at the accented E).
A couple of months ago I wanted a good yerba mate gourd, which is way harder to find than it really should be, so I ended up ordering around 5 because the first 4 just weren't the right size (my sweet spot is 4oz).
Anyways, I use around a 10oz gourd for terere, put some ice in it with the yerba mate along with a couple of orange peels and a little sugar, then pour in some cold water and BAM!!! I was really blown away about how good it was, really worth a try

Ah. I was thinking perhaps a special herb for infusion along with the mate and flavorings.
