Pam don't put sweetners in white peony. I good tea is a beautiful pure of soul product that needs nothing added.
If you do need something to sweeten it then use something natural like honey.
Although I'd urge you to go cold turkey as you'll never get the full flavour profile of any tea while you add stuff and that world of subtle sweetness and flavour will always evade you. White peony can have a beautiful cucumbery sweetness but your palate will need to get use to subtlety.
