from TeaSource.Com. I don't know if you can make 3 infusions out of a white tea, but since this is my first white tea, I did. The instructions say to use a heaping teaspoon, which I ended up using 3 grams, 155*-165* F water at 1.5-2.5 min.
The first infusion I used 155* water for 1.5 minutes. Second, 158* for 2 minutes and the third, 160* for 3 minutes. The first two I will be taking into work, so I have not tasted them yet. The third was not very strong. Of course, I am thinking of Lipton's tea bag. So that might be my problem. It had subtle notes of a fruitiness that I really enjoyed. Hopefully, the first two will be more noticeable.
Re: White Sunshine...
A good quality white tea should be good for multiple steeps, but will certainly taste more delicate than a Lipton's teabag. The White Sunshine is a blend, so the herbal ingredients could behave differently than the white tea ingredient in subsequent steeps.
