Hello all, I am new to this forum. lately I have been on a huge white tea kick after trying Tazo's "Apricot Vanilla Creme." I am looking at two kinds of flavored white tea from Stash and wish to try both. However, I have been unable to locate them at any of my local stores, so I will be ordering them online.

My question is, which would you recommend I try first, the "Fusion Red, White & Blueberry" or the "White Christmas" blend? Both sound interesting. Thanks everyone!

Within the context of tea bags, I have never had any luck with anything Stash has put out. It's universally low quality fannings and dust, with the flavored stuff dressed up to be more palatable. The only thing going for it is that these tend to have more variety in flavoring, because much more can be sprayed on.

I'd recommend trying out some loose white tea for a while to see how you like it without the flavoring agents.

Would you say the same for Tazo's flavored teas? I only ask because theirs is a bit more expensive at the store than brands like Stash/Bigelow/Lipton etc. I have been drinking tea to some degree over the past 6 years or so but I don't really know much about the technical side and I have also never tried any loose leaf which I know would be anathema to many a tea enthusiast.

I have always read though that loose tea tastes much better and as my interest in tea has become more serious recently, it really might not be a bad time to give it a try. Convenience has been a concern when it comes to that, since with bags one can quickly make a cup of tea even when there are time constraints.

I used to love Stash teas, though I never tried their white tea blends. Tazo is nice too, but my experience with them is much more limited. I believe that Mighty Leaf has one of the the best lines of bagged tea in terms of both quality and taste.

I finished up the last of my teabags around February and by the end I would drink it and say to myself "This tastes nice, but it isn't tea." So, if you like the flavors then I say go for it.

But, if you're looking for loose tea, then by all means jump in, the water's fine! When time is a concern, I usually go for a black tea, which lends itself really well to western style steeping (couple tsp per mug of water) and all you need is an infuser to replace your teabag.

The only flavored Tazo tea I've had is their "Passion"? Started with a P I think, came in a purple bag. It's like shoving every fruit in my mouth at once - rather intense.
