Meng Ding Huang Ya Yellow Tea

White and yellow teas are among the most subtle.

Meng Ding Huang Ya Yellow Tea

Trying this one today:

The leaf color is just as shown, a yellowy green. Fine medium needles.

The leaves do a little dance like silver needle, which I could watch since I brewed it in my IngenuiTEA. The brew color has a medium yellow, light oolong look to it.

My impressions of the first steep - peppery with a hay note and a dry finish. Feeling very much like a bolder white.
Second steep - much smoother more sweetness, Nice body to it. Leaning towards oolong at this point.

Overall it's not bad, but I'm not planning a repurchase.

Yeah, I tried it, it was not bad, interesting, but have no plans on buying it again. The dancing leaves was the highlight of this yeller...

I guess I just don't really get the point of it. Of yellow in general.
