Interesting, I had saved one bag from last year's harvest, keeping it sealed in the fridge for almost a year (I'm guessing... I bought it when it first became available from O-Cha.com) and when I opened it two weeks ago it was just as good as I remembered. I was really surprised that it had not noticeably lost any flavor.
The sad part is that it was the only bag I had left. I should have stocked up on the stuff. It's a really different sencha that is a nice change of pace every once in a while.
I sure wouldn't mind if O-Cha could source this good an organic 7132 from a different grower from a different region.
