Hi, I'm from Italy too.
Let us informed when your order will arrive: I'm waiting for placing an order to see how customs will behave.

I am way behind previous year's pace in ordering shincha due to the March 9th disasters. So far, only 8 shincha on the menu!

I just ordered 4 shincha, making a total of 6 shincha from O-Cha so far. During troubling times, we tend to go with those we know and trust most. Plus amazingly, these are all rather new offerings, at least all added since March 9th and all the radiation fall out.

Previously
Yutaka Midori (new supplier of an old fave)
Aoi (Tsuen offering added soon after Kevin moved to Uji)

And some new offerings, just ordered
"Hana no Kaori" "oolong" LE from Uji, translates "Aroma of Flowers" and brand new
Miyabi from Uji, reformulated from scratch due to loss of supplier from Fukushima
Organic Kagoshima Asamushi Sencha, all new, an asa from Kago! Labeled as INTENSE and grassy!
Organic Miyazaki Sencha "Sakimidori" my first purchase of a Miyazaki tea, brand new offering

I have also received from Xell who is going through his first shicha, http://japantea.org/index.php?route=common/home
Yame sencha Tokujo fukamushi
Ureshino guricha (Tamaryokucha)

Roissy airport did let my order from "Thés du Japon" through !

So, like a few others, I bought shincha from Kagoshima only and a stock of 2010 sencha...

How long did that SAL shipment from Maiko end up taking? I'm on day 15. I guess that's right at the edge of projected shipping time.

The cheaper shipping will usually arrive stateside in 5-10 days, or maybe a bit longer for more remote areas.

After 15 days, you start to worry. Usually they say it is lost by day 21.

Have you tried this tea yet Chip? I was going to order it but I want to know what it is like first.

How good does this picture look!!
Nice little cups, too!

EDIT: You've inspired me to go to the fridge right now and take out that Sae Midori ;)
(Too bad I always let it gradually warm up to room temperature for 24 hours)
