Please provide some information about this video.

I notice a period in the word youtube. It does not appear to be youtube.com. Is this a youtube video? When I see a mimic of a known site, I am concerned. They can be dagerous. I clicked on one once here and was led astray.

It is a you tube video, now if you use the share link that You tube gives you its a shortened link that usually starts with "http:// youtu . be /".

Although yes more than just a link would be nice, for instance this is the green tea forum, is it about Japanese, Chinese or Korean green tea? This one turns out to be a clip by Mellow Monk from their tea buying trip to Japan. So it is about Japanese Green Tea.

Thanks! I am not on youtube that much. EDIT: And thanks Adam as well.

However if the OP could also provide a little info instead of just a link, it would be more helpful to members.

I'd be glad to.
It's that I don't like to advertise someone or something.
It's a video in six parts about the entire process from flushing to selling the tea.
I've found this very instructional and it's very well done, isn't it?
There's also mentioned the old way of making tea, pan frying it
(the chinese method).

I've watched all 6 videos in this series, and all are very interesting. The last two, however, I found to be particularly fascinating.

Many thanks to a.serrao for providing the link.

Best wishes,

I agree. I watched all 6 parts today, and it was a really interesting and well made mini-documentary. A tea buyer for Mellow Monk travels across Japan, visiting various tea farms and meeting the families that grow the tea. There are additional clips with researchers investigating green tea's health properties, among others.

The same uploader 'mellowmonkgreentea' seems to also have a series titled 'Flavors of West Japan' uploaded in the same account. I'll probably watch that soon too.

I watched the first one and couldn't wait to watch the rest. This was very interesting, and I highly recommend watching it. The whole process of how the tea was harvested along with the random cultural tidbits were fascinating! I especially liked the matcha meditation ceremony with the monks. It spurred my curiosity. I may have to try some matcha in the near future
