Just wanted to point out a relatively new vendor, Yunomi - http://www.yunomi.us
They used to just sell for Obubu tea, but have expanded greatly.

They are located in Japan, but basically specialize in trying to find small tea merchants and farmers who have not been able to sell internationally. I don't know if, like O-cha, Thes du Japon, etc. they taste and try every product and determine which ones to sell (though I'm sure they do a lot of that). Their angle seems to be more trying to help connect small merchants and farmers direct to international (mostly US) tea drinkers. They have a ton of Japanese teas I've never seen before, very unique stuff.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out two things - first and foremost, I recently made my first order with them, and something went wrong, and they not only apologized but gave me part of what I ordered for free. It was above and beyond, and I am really impressed. So I wanted to thank them and just point out good customer service to others.

Secondly, like many other vendors, they have a lot of good deals right now. First of all, everything on their site is 20% off:

Secondly, if you create an account, and log-in, everything is automatically 5% off. Thirdly, there is a coupon code for $10 any order over $30.

You can combine all of these... at the order screen they allow you to do multiple coupon codes... so for a $40 order, you'd get 25% off, and then $10 off that...a total of $18 off, (nearly 50%). Seems crazy.

Anyway, as to the teas themselves I will report back when they've arrived!

Although I have not tried their teas, I have been interested in them for some time. I will almost certainly place an order next year.

Exceptional customer service gets top marks in my books every time. Any company that will surprise on the "up side" with customer service is way ahead of the game when it comes to customer loyalty. I have only had one company hit such heights for me -- Mellow Monk. On the other hand, one company did nothing when it messed up an order (of which I informed them) and made several mistakes on other orders. And no restitution from them, either.

Guess who gets my repeat business?

P.S. Sadly, some U.S. companies seem to treat us Canucks less well than their fellow Americans. Again, guess who gets my money?

I want to join to this, i order from them before and this black friday is my second time, they answered quickly , there side update frequently and have a lot of variety to offer , and you can easily find good tea in even better price .
