Tea identification

by devites » Oct 15th, '08, 02:26

I recently got 2 teas from my mom's friend. They are both labeled, one says jasmine pearls and the other says green tea like high mountain oolong (she is Chinese and struggles with English). I brewed it 3 minutes 1tsp per 6oz and it tasted almost like oolong. I know for sure it isn't gunpowder as the flavor is more buttery and smooth. The tea looks very similar to a TKY, but doesn't have the flowery aroma. Any ideas?

Well, kinda sounds like a Taiwan high mountain oolong.
