recommendations?

I'm fairly new to tea. Well, maybe "new" is not the right word, but I recently discovered loose leaf tea and realized I actually like tea.

I've been trying the sampler sets and really love genmai cha. I was wondering whether there are other tea varieties with a similar nutty flavor, or varieties that would be a good next choice to sample?

Hi Erika, welcome to TeaChat. Stop by TeaDay and share what is in your cup today.

Genmaicha is a good tea for someone who is new to loose leaf greens, easy to brew and substantial flavor. Others with possible nutty or toasty notes would include Houjicha, Houji Kukicha, and from China, and some Long Jing, aka Dragon Well will have a nutty nuance.

These are all pretty readily available as well and mostly easy brewers.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
