It's always nice to hear praises from satisfied customers. I will pass the kudos on to the artists. Thanks.

I will be posting new work by Hong Seong Il and Yi Yong Cheol shortly.

The new work will include tea pots, servers, puerh jars, and, tea trays, all in a fine porcelain clay body featuring Seong il's unique glazing. This porcelain body differs from the one he normally uses as it is very refined and much purer than his more mineral rich porcelain clay. Included in the new work are 3 onggi clay hohin's, all 80ml in size and ideal for gyokuro and other green teas in small quantity. These are the first hohin's we've featured from Seong il.

Yi Yong Cheol will offer some very interesting tea trays in typical Korean style using both porcelain and buncheong clays. Some of them feature his 2 glaze effect getting that psychedelic look to the item.

All in all, many different items to choose from.

All hohin sold. I will ask Seong il to make more. He will also make shiboridashi. Are there any suggestions for specific areas of teaware that viewers would like to see added?

I love the tea trays, and if I weren't broke, would have ordered one already--it's something you really can't find from any domestic ceramic artists, and the really nice ones tend to be really big and crazy-expensive to order from China.

I would also love to see more shiboridashi and houhin ...

All Seong il tea trays have been sold. We have been taking special orders and Seong il is working furiously gearing up for the coming season (now!) and all the exhibitions and Tea/Teaware festivals that begin at the end of this month in Korea. Once again, I want to thank everyone for their support!

Got my first tea tray this week, a lovely shino oribe from Yi Yong Cheol, and posted a few pics in the show off your teaware topic.

I've been looking for a tea tray for a while now, but it was actually the little lotus pitcher that sealed the deal, because I fell quite in love with it.

Looks great. These porcelain wares by Yi are much better in person. Your photos show the group nicely!

Those are interesting! Can they be used to brew anything? More suitable for lower temp stuff? Also, does the price reflect shipping, or is that not included?

Yes, you can brew anything but more suitable for lower temp so you don't burn your fingers. I have left you a PM.
