The one pot sure is tempting. I have purchased 3 of his pots ... they are each 90-120 ml. A 180 ml would be nice. If it was a rounder pot and a little less cylindrical, I think I would have jumped on it. I still might ... unless someone takes the option away.

thats a nice little pot..i was going back and forth between it and the one i did get.

That pot also has that same 'attitude' I love especially in the littler of my two Seong-il pots: a perky, sprightly lilt that I think is derived in part from the flip of the lid knob, but amplified by the shape of the pot including the spout. I considered that pot seriously myself, but the size wasn't what I was looking for.

I will be posting the next offerings by Seong il as soon as I can organize all the photos and put sizes and descriptions to them. So far, there will be teapots, both porcelain and onggi. Servers, tea trays, puerh jars, caddys, and, water storage jars. Many new designs. It's always exciting to see what comes out of the kiln. Please watch this thread to see the new work.

I am adding
many new items for sale from Seong il's kiln to my dropbox site. These are the latest creations from the young master of Boseong, South Korea. Teapots, servers, tea jars, water jars, tea trays, and, cups. Many with new designs never seen before. Porcelain and onggi clays dominate the collection with some stoneware used for the tea and water jars. The water jars are big. 8 liter and 10 liter capacities. The tea jars are quite large. Approximately 2.5kg or 2.5 liters of either tea storage (broken up puerh cakes), balhyocha (Koreans often store large amounts of this tea), or, doubling as water jars (mizusashi) for the tea table, keeping a quantity of water near the kettle for replenishment. These jars are wonderful and completely unique to Seong il's studio to my knowledge.

Porcelain teapots are mostly shino with soda ash. Same with servers except where noted.

Very nice and new looks!

I will be adding some new onggi clay tea jars (caddys) momentarily. These are different in shape and carving than what I have offered in the past. There are only 3 at present. All will hold approximately 150g of tea. Great for breaking up part of a puerh cake or emptying a bag of Taiwan oolong into.
