Two new ripe Puer teas in the collection!

1998 White Tuo (Hooray for white wrappers!) and a 2006 Little Gold Melon.

We are doing a brief sale on sleeve purchases, hope everyone gets to try them!

Yes, I noticed them. They look very interesting & enticing. How do they compare to your 2008 Haichao Chenxiang? :?:

Thanks.

Best wishes,

Both are better than the 2008 Haichao Chenxiang, which is more of a value Puer. The 2006 Jingua is a good daily drinker type. The 1998 is deceivingly inexpensive due to its white wrapper. It is good tea with some age.

Currently wandering around Yunnan in search of Autumn teas, but there is also a new tea on our site. Check out this traditional stored 8582. Dark soup and south China storage with a tried and true recipe.

Off to the mountains for more picking.

Hi,

I'm a really big fan of ripe pu'er and I see that you have a big selection. I was wondering if you had any recommendation to make. My absolute favorite ripe pu'er is made from the really small leaves that have a oily feeling when brewed. I tend to prefer on on the sweet leathery side than the bitter side if that makes any sence :)

Thanks to anyone which would advice me :)
Cheers,
paxl13

For ripes - I would recommend these:

For Raw, sounds like you might want something with a little age:

This cake will be pressed in the next couple of weeks as well, since we sold out of the first run:

Some major updates! We are launching a new monthly tea service, where new curated teas will be sent out each month and delivered to your door! In addition, we have a few new yixing pots on our site.

The monthly tea service sounds interesting. Perhaps you could provide a few more details (e.g., how much tea will be sent out each month, is shipping included in the price, are you limiting membership to a certain no. of subscribers, etc.).

Thanks, TwoDog2!

Best wishes,

Good ideas! I added some information about the weight. There will be no specific weight restrictions. Some months might have a lighter weight, for example if there are 3 expensive samples, the weight might be much lower, with each sample being only 25g. For some teas, a 100g brick or tuo might be more suitable, making the total weight 200 or even 300 grams.

As far as limiting membership, I think it should be ok given the geographic restrictions, but I might have to cap it for a time being if it gets out of hand.

Shipping cost is included in the cost of the club, but the club is only available in China, HK, Macau, USA, Canada, Australia, and the UK.

Awesome! I feel bad because I am excluding other places, but maybe I can include them in the future.

I know plenty of Aussie tea drinkers who are really into Puer and tea in general, so I am glad I can get tea in your (and their) hands!
