We specialize in Puer teas from Yunnan, China. Rather than woo you with long poetic descriptions of the teas we provide, we like to keep it simple, and leave the experience of the tea up to you.

Visit us at : White 2 Tea Co.

Philosophy: We will not sell any teas that we would not drink ourselves. All teas will be correctly labeled to the best of our ability and represented with honest information.

We currently ship anywhere in the world for $14.99, with very few minor exceptions. As a welcome to everyone on Teachat, and a nod to my American heritage, White 2 Tea will be having a promotion over the Thanksgiving weekend. As this is a fairly international discussion board, a bit of background may be needed; Americans have a little thing called black friday. It just so happens that Black Friday coincides with a rough time frame for people to order puer from White 2 and get their tea shipped from China and have it arrive before the holidays. So, as a welcome bargain, any orders placed between now (the posting of this message) and midnight (CST) on Sunday, Nov 25th that exceed USD 50 will get a free 2012 Dayi Hongyun 100g Ripe Puer cake, which comes in the nifty little box below.

So, a quick recap: Anyone who orders over USD 50 worth of tea (before shipping) before the end of this weekend will get a free 100g Dayi Hongyun cake. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Weekend!

Just wanted to share a new blend that myself and Xiao Yunqing of Taochaju made in collaboration:

2012 Giant Steps Blend

The blend was pressed in 2012 with a blend of old arbor material from three regions; Mensong, Nannuo, and Laoman’e. The material used ranges from 2008-2012, with both Spring and Fall material being used.

I really enjoy its strong huigan and kuwei. Let me know if anyone has tried it - I would love to get some feedback and opinions!

Posting a new 2013 Spring Old Arbor blend, heavy on the Bulang. Strong kuwei [bitterness] and plenty of strength. The tea is called New Amerykah - I broke a cake in half to get a better view of the leaves. Hope you all get a chance to enjoy it.

A few new teas on the White 2 Tea website. If you are looking for an everyday raw puer that doesn't break the bank, check out this 2004 Jianshen Tuo. It has a medium aged flavor, plenty of power to age further, and is a reasonable price tag.

Thanks.

Both questions at once - For a shu puer, I don't have anything the same age, but as for the quality/size ration, I think the Wuzidengke cake from Dayi is nice. It is a small gongting cake, 150 grams.

For the Thanksgiving, I had not decided yet, but I will try to think of something interesting!

Thanks for the responses (s).

I am considering getting some puer, so I am interested to see what you dream up for a Thanksgiving sale.
