Heh, that was removed years ago, literally. I was upset at the time because it was a nice feature.

One small thing that I would really like to see changed is the page title for the individual forums and threads. I use lots of tabs, and they all end up saying "View forum -..." and "View topic -..."

I know this is probably a nitpick, but it really drives me nuts when I have a lot of tabs open and several of them are for different parts of TeaChat. I would really like to be able to see "Feedback Fo..." and "The new look..." instead!

A few of you have mentioned that 'delete all cookies' is appearing within the posts. Can someone send me a screenshot of this effect? Also please let me know what computer/browser you are using.

Thanks,
Ilya

Here you go, Ilya. Here is this page as viewed on my home computer:

Shot of "Delete all board cookies"

Browser: IE7
OS: Windows XP
Monitor: Dell M993s 19" Monitor
Screen res: 1152 x 864 pixels

P.S. Subscribe topic/Bookmark topic and Delete all board cookies always appear over the second post on each page - on left and right sides respectively.

i'm getting this same effect (the Delete all board cookies but not the Subscribe topic/Bookmark topic) when running IE7 as well, but not when using firefox or opera.

Am I the only person that still doesn't get email notifications when I get PM'ed?

I get no email notifications about anything. With the old software I got notifications of new posts in the threads I was following as well as notifications of new PMs.

Welcome to my world. I never have ever gotten notifications. I think when I said that before on the old board I think some members felt or thought, oh "she must not know how to check the box properly" or something. So I can definitely relate! But I have gotten by. It makes you really rely on "View New Posts", which seems to be working better here actually.

Sorry but where is the "View New Posts" feature?

On the front page, on the top right above all the forums.

How is the "fixing bugs" process going? As far as I can tell, none of the problems I'm experiencing have been touched.

1. Overlapping print in thread titles on the main page--some are not readable at all.

2. No post made in the poll of the day increases my post count.

3. The "view new posts" and "mark all as read" is still screwed up. They are never marked as read, and each day the view new posts shows every new post for the last month or so. Yes, I can delete all the cookies and reset everything every day, but that's such a pain.

Any updates?

+1, I have contacted the admin with a list of the dirty dozen top problems including I believe all you listed. I am more than a bit frustrated since sometimes I feel this ongoing problem reflects badly upon me, although I have done just about all I can.

I personally feel that there is a degree of frustration in many members since posting has dropped off considerably, not to mention the contacts I have received. 193 posts and counting here. Why am I feeling that the members are the most concerned, perhaps because we are most affected and exposed.

It is PAST time to FIX the problems!!!

Sorry for the whine and cheese discussion on a tea forum. 8)
