I drink rooibos every day. I must admit I did believe that it had more antioxidants than green tea because that's what I kept hearing, so thanks very much for clearing that up.
When making a cup of rooibos or honeybush are there are any special recommendations in terms of how long you brew the leaves for, how much leaves per ounce of water or the temperature of the water?

I brew mine 1 tsp per 8oz (1cup) of boiling water for 5-7 mins.
I was in South Africa last November and we drank it constantly while travelling. It`s so versatile. Never gets bitter, you can let it steep all day if you want to. It`s wonderful cold as well... I enjoyed it with a little apple juice added. The same applies for Honeybush, we commonly saw the 2 blended together to make a `bushman` blend.
