You can bet on that.

Oh the postman will be terrorised by me. I will ask him every day - where is my cup? And where is my OTTI-package? Which one will be faster :)

And Chip - my bank accountant said I must not look at those pictures of the cups again. I'm in buying fever

Great, hope to see some photos, Seeker!

Hang in there Marco, nothing here yet either ... something about owing him money. Still looking at one or two as possible add ons.

So, looks like around 3 cups and 5 bowls left! PM me if interested.

My bowl and cup arrived today! They are stunning! I don't usually do matcha on weekdays, but will have to whisk up some tomorrow morning just so I can use this chawan.

Going to wait for the weekend for photo's. I'm waiting for a new battery for my old digital camera that has all manual settings. Hoping to get some better tea ware photo's from it, and maybe finally learn how to use it!

Ohhhhhh, my chawan (#3) arrived today. Mmmmmmm, so awesome!

The inside is an awesome red rust color (darker than it looked in the pictures as viewed on my computer) that looks great with matcha!!!

I can't really come up with a description of the outside. The glaze is so smooth..the finger lines are mottled dark (what color is that?) alternating with an almost metallic brown (?).

The shape is awesome (great for whisking and holding) and the "hand-feel" is spectacular.

I took some pictures and the bowl looks "good" in the pictures, but the pics did not capture what I see, so I won't post them.

Awesome!!! Thanks Michael and thanks Chip!!!!

-Dreamer

P.S. The display stand will occupy a permanent place on my desk to serve as a saucer for every cup!

The stand is a great addition. Using it as a saucer for all tea sessions is a great idea Dreamer.

Instead of grouped with my other tea ware, I found a nice prominent spot for my Chawan (T5) and stand in my living room, displayed like artwork (when not in use of course).

The cup (C7) is the smallest one I own at this point. The cup is the darker rust inside and I just love it. Should pair very nicely in size with my first Gawain that I have coming soon.

Great job on these Michael - you are quite the artist! And Chip - thanks as alway for coordinating all these special events!

Seeker, laura99, Dreamer, Chip,
I just arrived home from teaching a wheel class this evening after a very long day at the studio, exhausted. Had a bite to eat and thought I would check in here...

Wow...upon reading your comments regarding receiving your pieces and your acceptance of what I have offered, I'm totally rejuvenated and energized. I may be heading back to the studio to do work, while all is quiet, sounds like a small micro vacation. Thanks for the energy boost.

You guys are the greatest, your kind words of support are truly appreciated.

Chip, I know I've said this many times to you directly but I would like to say it again here...Thank you for all you have done for me directly during the production of my offering, also, for all you have done for all the artisan here, your efforts on our behalf is extraordinary.

Thanks again, I am honored by your support,
Michael

Couple of pics of my new bowl...

I still have not captured the metallic look of the glaze on the outside, but I think it is too elusive for my photog skills.

Thanks (again) Michael and Chip!!!
