Thank you all for your comments and posting those pictures. it is very pleasant to hear how good I am...hahaha. I am kidding –but fact is that it is very pleasant to see how you make those pots live. That is great!

I was going thru all pictures on my PC and have found few from the studio, maybe from two months ago. Some of you can find those semi-products familiar.

Make a fist, insert handle between middle and index (fore) fingers, thumb over lid. The butt of the handle sits nicely in the palm of your hand. Feels perfect, right?

I really like this handle that Petr uses for most of his side handle pots and yuzamashi, it is rounded at the end and feels quite natural.

This feels better to me than the standard "handshake grip" that I use for longer and more angular-shaped handles that are more typical in Tokoname kyusu-s.
I'm at work with one of my tokoname pots now, and while this one is indisputably the neatest pouring of my three kyusu, the open cone shaped handle's end is not nearly so comfortable, and the narrow neck that is quite slick requires a tighter, less comfortable grip than Petr's pot.

Hooray! My stuff came today.....!

...

But it's at the Post Office (seem like a familiar chorus...), and now I must wait just a couple more days...

So close, yet so far ... :?

Having observed and used this kyusu daily since it arrived, I can say it is very lightweight and very well made! No heavy clunker here.

The screen is great, formed by an indentation to the outer pot wall.

Just love this little kyusu!

D'oh....!

I managed to finally get to the post office yesterday and pick up my package. They are so beautiful, and an incredible feel... it's really amazing. I ended up with a mostly-matching set, too, which is nice. :D

I can't wait to brew with them this weekend! And pictures... pictures to follow.

Yep, I went w/ priority. I debated on economy, but due to expected timing of various events, priority was better.
