Yes you did!! And if you never won anything yet, then it was about time you did! It (and almost all of the other packages) went out today as a matter of fact. Large flat rate box, priority, so that means 2-3 days. It will be a nice set, all the colors will go together.
Congrats!
Bill

Glad you like them Drax! There is much to look at. Glaze variations, fire flashing, ash, "mountains", textures- both "rough" for your fingers and smooth for your lips. Notice the subtle wood grain on the trivet yet?
Enjoy, can't wait to see pictures. Would you put them here or in the "show your tea ware section'?
Cheers,
Bill

Wow, Bill!

I just received my yunomi and chawan a couple days ago, and I haven't been able to take my eyes off of them since  . I must say that the ippuku-chawan is perfect for my daily oolong or green tea, and it's a total pleasure to use. The Hagi glaze around the rim feels so soft and smooth on my lips, while the rough textures of the "mountains" and base make a perfect contrast. I knew it would look even nicer in person, but this is truly an outstanding vessel for appreciating tea -- especially floral oolongs like Baozhong. I toss a couple leaves in the chawan and casually enjoy the aroma while I refill it throughout the afternoon. Perfect!

I haven't had any time to use the yunomi yet, but I love how it fits perfectly on the trivet as well. Its color is little more bronzen than I was expecting, but it fits so well in my hands, I have no complaints. I think it'll really sparkle once I can enjoy a cup of tea outdoors without worry of it freezing/cracking. :)

Truly outstanding craftsmanship present in both of these pieces -- can't say thanks enough, Bill!

Here's a picture of my new ippukuwan in action...! I wish I had gotten off of my duff earlier and gotten the picture in the sunlight, but I suppose the gentle glow of fluorescent lights will have to do...

Although I was enjoying a pu'erh sheng here, this wan is just right for matcha.... it has a wonderful shape that makes it perfect to hold, and I love how the side have that 'mountain' feel...!

That clay body is nice for the mountains with it's grainy texture...

At home late this AM, preparing for a conference today, and was in time to meet the postman for my delivery. My yunomi and an oribe cup were very well padded, because my postman tossed the little box over the railing onto my porch....(!)...and they were just fine inside it. I made one more infusion of my morning sencha, just to try out the scallop yunomi, and to enjoy the subtle glowing sheen of the interior glaze under the tea. It's lovely, fits my hand better than I'd hoped, and deserves more photographic attention than I can give it today. But just a quick snap with the phone first:

Looks nice with the shino kyusu too.

One question about my new yunomi: is it microwave safe? I think it would make a brilliant cup for hot chocolate as well as for tea, if it is....
