Status update!

Of all the Committed/Deposit participants, I have heard back from all but 4. Also around half of these have submitted their choices, which is fine since their deadline is Monday.

New participants are gobbling up the extras. If you have contacted me today indicating you want to participate, you can sleep tonight, you are in!

There are a couple spots remaining. Sooooo, if you have not yet joined the Eiichi Commission, please email me NOW at teachat@adagio.com with your choices.

As I mentioned in my last post, I will be contacting you by tomorrow evening to confirm your status.

I will also be revealing a "SURPRISE" in this topic in the next few days. Stay tuned!

Wow, this news is actually pretty remarkable... when I looked at the date when we first put down the commission deposit, I was shocked that it was late January of 2011! I hadn't really realized how much time had flown by...

And the remarkable part is that you heard back from nearly everybody... I realize email makes things easier, but still!

Well worth the wait, though! And I do believe the "surprise" just might cause some spontaneous combustion to happen....

Yes, I was quite concerned about that actually. It was a year to the day that I received the first deposit that I sent the emails.

I am now waiting on the last 2 "deposit" participants to notify me they received the email. Then still a bunch of these need to make their choices. I hope they are not in analysis paralysis ... if they are, they have company!

Yes, the "surprise" might be too much too handle ... in a good way.

Tabulations so far ... first picks are equal for all 3 shapes.

When we decided to do all 3 shapes, after the deal was struck ... I had visions/fears that everyone would want 1 or 2 of the shapes. So at this point there is some relief.

It appears the Eiichi Commission is sold out. WHEW!

I am still waiting on a 1 or 2 "Deposit Participants" selections.

So, all in all, this has gone very smoothly and well, especially considering that this has been in progress for a year and then it finally to the disbelief of many it was finally finished.
:)

If you are an Eiichi Commission participant, you are able to combine your Eiichi with a Hagi SO 17 Oribe "Comes the Spring" for shipping purposes ... and because they are so dang beautiful.

You can view it here: http://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... ad#p214985

If after viewing that topic, you simply want to receive your Eiichi Commission only, you can email me at teachat@adagio.com with the subject "Eiichi Only."

If you choose to wait, this indicates to me that you are checking out the Oribe Hagi SO, and you may be "combining."

In your email include:

your TeaChat name
Your full name
Mailing address
Country
your paypal email
Shipping preference: SAL or EMS (please ask if you have any question about shipping methods in your email)
your phone number for customs forms is requested in the event of a problem

I will then email you back with your total and payment information.

... and if you are checking out the Oribe Hagi SO, then do not email me now, there is no need.

Late this week we will discuss combined orders.

THANKS!

Thanks debunix and Ian!

Sorry for the delay in sending selection notification emails to everyone. I was in the middle of it and our monitor went black. So, I am limping along with an old one that has issues of its own. Plus I have been trying to reslove some TeaChat funtion issues all day.

I will either complete this tonight or tomorrow. But everyone who emailed selctions to me, you will be receiving one of your selections. So, hang in there!

The first round of emails with totals and shipping info and payment info will be for Eiichi Only participants.

Then if you combined with an Oribe, yours will follow.

Then if you purchased an Oribe only, yours will follow.

In the email I will be requesting the following information via return email.

Your TeaChat Name:
Your full name:
Your shipping address:
Your country:
Your phone number for customs forms:
Your shipping option SAL or EMS:
Paypal email:

A word about shipping. (I will include cost options in the email)

EMS is fastest, trackable, insured, guaranteed deivery. 3 - 10 days is pretty normal for delivery.

SAL is cheaper, slower and quite variable in how long a package will take to arrive. Figure 10 - 21 days, but sometimes a bit longer. SAL shipping is not insured nor is it guaranteed delivery. Select SAL only if you are willing to take this risk. Though I have not heard of a SAL package not arriving and many TCers have used SAL for Hagi SOs and other purchases from Japan.
