Light leaves

Is it my imagination or are many herbal teas, like chamomile, lighter weight leaves? When I put a tea bag of chamomile in water it seems to float on the top of the water, while black teas seem to sink.

Less dense certainly, but not lighter. An ounce is an ounce is an ounce, exept when it's a troy ounce....but that's not the point. LOL
